Last Breath

Salam Have you ever wonder how your last breath will be like? How you gonna face the last breath of your loved ones? Since starting clinical year officially in November, I have experienced knowing that a soul has departed from a body. I was on call on that Sunday night, for the first time seeing a pleural tapping procedure at 9pm was done. The next morning, at 11am the doctor told us that the patient had poor prognosis and when we went to the ward, she was already gone. It was brief. Within one night, anything can happen. The patient actually had ascites due to liver metastases. When the pleural tapping was done, it was therapeutic for a while. However, at 4am the patient developed the symptom again together with shortness of breath. Since then, the doctor knew that the prognosis was uncertain.
